A new opportunity to develop and grow a new area of business for this UK based web-brand with traffic surpassed only by Facebook & Google. Reporting to the Agency Director, you will have responsibility to build and lead a sales team and be responsible for selling advertising products into schools UK wide.
Responsible for a small team of field based sales people, together you will grow, retain and account manage over the phone and face to face meetings.
Typically you will:
- Recruit, train and develop a new team, by coaching and driving consistent quality sales
- Weekly KPI catch ups, celebrating strong performance
- Have a plan! setting objectives, and strategy – communicating clearly
- Defining and delivering the customer acquisition strategy agreed with Agency Director
- Taking ownership of the biggest customers and opportunities
We are looking for:
- Previous experience of selling/account managing into the education/independent school sector
- Will have been involved in start ups – setting up a new team
- People management experience -recruitment, training, coaching, managing
- Strong analytical skills and technology focused
- Ideally, a advertising sales background is a distinct advantage
